In the mid 90’s I felt a stirring to return to the world of art. I began to sketch the “gentle moments “of my life with pen and ink.
As the desire to paint and draw increased I took private watercolor lessons. Watercolor is the medium I felt most passionate about. Around that time I attended a number of workshops by nationally known watercolorists. Since then I have been exploring other media. I now work in acrylic, oil, mixed media, collage and pastel. Each medium offers unique qualities and different methods to communicate an idea or thought. This for me makes the creative path an endless journey of discovery and fun. I love to continue to learn, explore and share what I am learning with others. So in 2007 I decided to open my studio to teach and share my love of art.
